Hey Sujan,

Great list! I’d also like to add “why should someone buy from you versus one of your competitors?”. I’d argue clients need to occupy a certain niche if they hope for any real long term success, otherwise they’re a “me too”, and won’t generate the necessary margins to sustain themselves longterm. The difference needs to be real and easily quantifiable, and not imagined (such as better service).

My first question as an SEO Consultant is mostly “Where do you think you have problems in Search, SEO”
You can see very easy if the client is a noob or a pro. Then you can start with your sales strategy.
Budget and stuff is interessting for PPC but not for SEO.
