Facebook VS. Google+ [Infographic]

Once Google+ started about two weeks ago, the buzz online has driven more than 10 million members to the new social networking site in some sort of snowball effect. Facebook is still dominating the social media market, but with the increased popularity of Google+, the battle for social media supremacy is heating up. Some people say Google+ has it all; that it is the perfect mix between Facebook and Twitter. Below are some side by side comparisons, including privacy, chat and friends, between Facebook and Google+. Will this battle of Internet titans go the distance or will Google+ get the knockout and become the new Social Media Heavyweight Champion of the World?

I think whatever both companies do to their services they both will remain active on internet :)

  3. Google Plus is terrific. I don’t think it will ever be more than the Pepsi to Facebook’s Coke, alas, but it’s much slicker and better designed. It’s too bad that the service has sacrificed a pile of goodwill over the last week by repeatedly publicly shooting themselves in the foot.

Your infographic will be of great value for people new in social networks to choose between Facebook and Google+. As a long-time user of Google search engine and Gmail, I believe Google+ will win more users with more confidence. But, one question, where to seek help when a Google+ user has a question about how to use its many fantastic functions?

  25. Google+ stores your photos in full resolution. Unlike FaceBook, which compresses your photos.

C’mon guys, google + is a failure. my old relatives would never join it and that’s the reason why i wont either. google arrived waaaaaay too late to this party

  27. Absa says:

Nice infographic, but fast forwarding to today, since all the buzz has died down, Google+ is still no where near Facebook. The adoption rate just simply isn’t there. People are too entrenched in their facebook network to make the switch.

  28. Thanks for this infographic! now i’m lovin google plus
